PSYCHEDELIC GRACE

Praying to a crescent moon at midnight,
I had watched a dark night swallow the day whole,
Leaving behind only a few stars of flickering hope.

I asked the moon,
Why sometimes,
darkness consumes the mysteries of the heart and the mind.

The crescent moon turned,
and smiled a tilted grin,
Enveloping me in a moonlight embrace he began to say,

Have faith.
The psychedelic light of day will make its way,
If only we can allow in our hearts, the grace of darkness to remain.

FIREPROOF

I stood in the middle of the woods
surrounded by lush green trees
and slowly a bright fire burnt
The trees lit up like beacons and burnt.

And I stood, very still
surrounded by fire, as it raged
I surrendered to my inner knowing
And my knowing said…

My dear, to be truly alive,
you have to be annihilated
To truly live
You have to again and again, die.

But scared, I wanted to be rescued
And raised my hands heaven wards
And met God’s eyes
And he said

‘Stand in the fire,
because only then will you know your worth and truth
Don’t you see my dear
You are Fireproof’.

ONCE AGAIN

Newest yoga poems on internet

She came to me
broken and sad.
Looking old and wrinkled,
insecure and dismayed.

I showed her
her untamable wild spirit,
under her cracks,
still alive and well.

I showed her
her innocent yearnings,
under her hard shell,
still dancing, alive and well.

I showed her
her infinite love,
under her dark eye circles,
still so vibrant, alive and well.

I showed her
her true beauty,
and she fell in love
with herself – once again.

WHOLE

The full moon came to me the other day and said,
Why so quiet my love?
Tell me your vulnerabilities.
I will reflect them in the oceans and the seas.
You will see how beautiful your weaknesses can be.

But why should I? I resisted.
Won’t you tease and mock me?
Oh darling, said the moon, with his crooked grin
The craters of my faults are my beauty,
and when I am Whole, don’t you see my faults in all their glory?

So don’t hide my love, reveal.
Your loveliness is in your Imperfect Humanity.
But then, I asked sheepishly,
With all my faults, will you still love me?
More than you know, because then you see, my love, you will be Whole.

CRATERS OF LOVE

best yoga poems on internet

We arrive uninvited to this life.
And if we are lucky,
we find purpose.

But if we are not
may we,
find love.

May we then, find strength,
to give that love away
with both our hands.

And continue to give it away,
till the empty crater of our heart,
hits the magma of our soul.

So that the geyser of Divinity
can eternally,
Explode!

GYPSY WOMAN

She has the light of the stars and the moon.
The heat of the sun.
The tenderness of dew.

She has the life force of the earth.
The ambition of the north star.
The fierceness of wild fire.

She has the magic of myrrh, aloes and cinnamon.
The fragrance of jasmine, musk and lavender,
She possesses love that can move mountains and make oceans overflow.

She is fire, water, earth, wind in one.
Behold,
She is every woman.

MY UNDEFENDED HEART

In the wilderness of today,
my undefended heart,
stays vulnerable.
And anoints you, love,
only love,
as king to this kingdom.

So that my trembling heart
can stay soft and open.
And gently live these fragile days
that string together and create
an exquisitely tender life
that the kingdom of love ordains.
